Answer

To replace the window switch on the Hyundai Santa Fe SM, whether it is on the right or left side, the door panel must be removed. The panel is held by a screw in the opening handle, one in the support handle and 3 in the sides. Once all the screws have been removed and the panel removed, the switch can be replaced by disconnecting the connector and removing the two screws that hold it firmly.
