To replace the window regulator on a Hyundai Santa Fe, loosen the screws that secure the door panel to its housing. These screws are located at the centre of the glove compartment and at the centre of the internal handle housing.

Once the panel is removed, locate the underlying window regulator mechanism. Disconnect it from the relevant connectors and remove it from its securing screws.

This will allow you to remove the old mechanism, insert the new one, and then cover everything with the panel.
