As you can see in this tutorial, removing the glove compartment drawer on a Hyundai Elantra is a very simple and quick task. First, go to the passenger seat, then locate the two black plastic pins at the lower hinges of the drawer and remove them.

Use a flathead screwdriver or pliers if necessary. Once removed, open the drawer and unlock the two internal stops.

At this point, the drawer is free to be removed and, if needed, replaced. This will also give you access to the cabin filter.
