To ensure clean air circulates in the ventilation system of the Hyundai Elantra, you need to change the designated filter at the scheduled intervals. To do this, sit in the passenger seat and open the glove compartment in front of you, removing the screws on the inner sides to release it. You will find the cover of the filter box in front; open it and remove the old filter element, replacing it with a new one, preferably an activated carbon model.

Reinsert the cover and put the glove compartment back in place by securing the locking screws.
