The procedure to change the cabin air filter in a Hyundai Elantra requires a few simple steps. Get into the car from the passenger side, open the glove compartment, and detach the right-hand side damper arm; press inward on the two side walls of the compartment, which will release the catches and allow the compartment to lower completely, giving you access to the area where the filter is located. Behind the compartment, you will see a rectangular cover with two side tabs; press and remove it: pull out the old filter and proceed to replace it.
