Replacing the cabin filter on a Hyundai Elantra is a fairly simple task. First, open the glove compartment, then remove the side clips that hold the compartment in place.

After removing the clips, the compartment should open much wider to allow access to the filter housing. To extract the filter, first remove the cover of the filter housing; simply press on the cover to unlock it and pull it off. Now, take out the old filter and insert the new one, reattach the filter cover (ensure it is securely fastened), and finally, replace the clips on the glove compartment.
