Before you begin, open the driver's door of your Smart ForTwo and then sit in the driver's seat. Start by prying off and removing the plastic surrounding the window switch button, using a small flat screwdriver for leverage.

Next, using the same screwdriver, pry out the window switch button from its housing. At this point, disconnect the rear electrical connector, and you will have successfully completed the removal.
