How to remove the window regulators from a Smart Fortwo? Here’s the guide. Unscrew the glass rail pins using a socket wrench with the appropriate bit. Remove the internal and external glass seals (if necessary); take out the glass by sliding it upwards, taking care not to break it. Dismantle the window motor using the socket wrench, disconnect the power connectors, and pull it out of its seat. Slide out the rail and window regulator from the door panel. Begin reassembling everything, starting with the rail and window regulator (get someone to help support the glass).
