Answer

Replacing the petrol filter on the Fiat Punto 188 is very simple. Once the bonnet is opened, the fuel filter is located in the left corner under the windshield. Disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew the fixing ring. Remove the lid and disconnect the filter cartridge; discard the latter after having drained it. Insert the new filter and fit it into the coupling on the cap, place the gasket and reassemble everything. Start the engine for a few minutes to let the gasoline enter the circulation.
