How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Fiat Punto

The fuel pump on the second series Fiat Punto is located under the rear seat bench. Start by removing the rear seat bench by unhooking it. This will give you access to the fuel pump cover, which also needs to be removed by unscrewing the fixing screws, allowing access to the fuel pump. Next, disconnect the upper connector and the quick-release pipe, taking care to avoid fuel spills. Now, unscrew the ring that secures the fuel pump, and you will have freed the fuel pump. After this, remove the fuel pump from its housing to complete the disassembly. To fit the new fuel pump and reassemble everything, simply reverse these steps, and you will have completed the replacement.
