Answer

If the passenger compartment ventilation fan does not activate or remains fixed only on one speed, then it means that the resistance that regulates its speed has been damaged: this resistance is located next to the motor-fan unit immediately behind the glove compartment; therefore once the glovebox has been removed, next to the fan motor you can recognize the resistance which has the shape of a red rectangle.
