Remove the fan resistor from a Golf? Here’s how to take it out from inside the cabin. Use a lever to remove the plastics under the dashboard where the fan resistor is located. Access the resistor and disconnect the electrical connector, then detach the resistor. Insert a new fan resistor (connect the power connector). After installing the replacement part, refit the cover under the dashboard. Turn on the fan and perform a functionality test. Check the correct installation of the parts mounted under the dashboard.
