Disassembly of the cabin fan resistor of the Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

Today we will discover the process of disassembling and replacing the resistor of the cabin fan of the Volkswagen Golf. First, we get on board the vehicle and start disassembling and removing the plastic side partition found at the bottom on the passenger side; then we access the cabin fan motor, where we will disconnect the electrical connector of the fan resistor to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, we install the new cabin fan resistor, checking the operation of the various fan speeds!
