Replacing the fan resistor on a Renault Scenic? Start by removing the plastic cover above the dashboard (instrument cluster) using a lever. Unscrew the securing screws with a screwdriver. Disconnect the large connector from the resistor, then pull it out from the dashboard. Insert a new fan resistor (connect the power connector). Finally, refit the cover of the instrument cluster and tighten the screws. Check the correct installation of the previously mounted parts and test the fan operation (turn on the fan).
