When the hybrid system does not start, there is a temporary procedure for starting, provided the switch starts normally. First set the parking brake. Then flip the "power" switch to "accessory" mode. Press and hold the power switch for approximately 15 seconds while firmly depressing the brake pedal. Have the vehicle inspected by a Toyota dealer as soon as possible.
