What are the starting problems of an Opel Zafina 1.9 CDTI?

Answer

As strange as it may seem, this engine has problems starting in hot outside temperatures. It seems that the problem is a bug in the control unit software, which no longer causes the glow plugs to light above 12 degrees outside temperature. The solution is either to have the ECU remapped or to install a system that forces the ignition of the glow plugs.
