It happens to everyone sooner or later. Suddenly the car won't start, leaving us helpless with a problem to solve. This guide provides some useful tips for troubleshooting starting issues. If turning the key doesn't start the engine and the dashboard lights dim, the starter motor may be stuck on the flywheel. In this case, just engage a gear and push the car back and forth, or use a wrench to turn the starter shaft clockwise until you hear it click back. If you can't move the dashboard shaft, tap the casing to free the shaft stuck to the flywheel. It could also be a battery issue, so in this case, clean and tighten all connections, recharge it, or replace it.
