The diagnostic port inside the Mercedes E-Class model W210. Unlike other Mercedes vehicles, the port is located under the hood. To use the port for computer diagnostics, open the hood and remove the cover of the box containing the port; the box is located on the upper left near the fuse box, which is on the upper right side.

The port is not only used for diagnostics to identify issues within the car but also to resolve situations such as resetting certain warning lights.
