Replacing the Starter Motor on a Mercedes E-Class 220 W210

Today, you will learn how to remove the starter motor from a Mercedes E-Class 220 W210. First, open and lift the hood: then remove the plastic engine cover by unscrewing the screws, and take out the screws from the intake hose located underneath. Try to move the wiring aside to access the starter motor; disconnect its electrical connector and, using a socket wrench with an extension, unscrew its mounting bolts, also accessing them from underneath the vehicle. Finally, remove it and replace it with the new one.
