Remove the Starter Motor on Mercedes E

Model: Mercedes Classe E W212 - Years 2009-2016

Is the car having ignition problems? Is the starter motor not working? Replace it. Use a socket wrench to disconnect the battery power cables. Lift the car on a column lift, remove the starter motor retaining plate using a socket wrench and needle-nose pliers. Open the hood, remove the engine soundproofing panel along with the attached cables. Remove the air filter housing, then disconnect the starter motor power terminals using pliers or a screwdriver depending on the tab pressure. Unscrew the starter motor mounting bolts with a socket wrench and remove the motor from the engine bay. Install the new starter motor with the power cables. Check if the new part works.
