Where is the starter located on Mercedes C180?

Answer

On Mercedes C180 the starter motor is positioned in the lower part of the engine. To reach it, first disconnect the battery, then remove the engine soundproofing panel, the intake manifold on the left side of the engine, the air filter and the metal fixing brackets. Disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the screws and remove the starter motor.
