If the glove compartment of the Citroen Xsara does not open, there could be various reasons, but the main one is that the lock mechanism may have become stuck due to rust. The best thing to do is to put oil on the entire surface of the lock and a little on the key and try to lubricate everything to open the compartment. Another solution could be to spray a brake cleaner spray inside the glove compartment lock.
