How to unlock the locked tailgate of the trunk of a Renault Clio?

Answer

To unlock the locked tailgate of the trunk on a Renault Clio you need to get a not too small slotted screwdriver. Lower the rear seats and slide from there into the trunk and with a screwdriver you should be able to open the trunk from the inside. Just press gently on the metal latch of the lock. Once opened, you will almost certainly have to replace the lock.
