The Jeep Cherokee is equipped with an electronic handbrake which often tends to cause problems even at low mileage: the problem that manifests itself in most cases is the inability to deactivate the handbrake when it is engaged. Being exclusively electronic, there is no manual procedure to disconnect it: the temporary solution is to disconnect the battery for about a quarter of an hour. In this way the handbrake will be released and it will be possible to go to the workshop to identify the problem.
