How the Electronic Handbrake Works in the Jeep Renegade

In this video, discover how the electronic handbrake works in the Jeep Renegade. Compared to the traditional lever, it may seem more complicated to use, but as we will see, it has some pleasant surprises. To engage it, pull the "P" button towards you; if you pull it twice, it will engage with more force, useful when parking on a slope. To deactivate it, simply drive off normally, and the handbrake will automatically release; alternatively, you can deactivate it manually by pressing the brake and then pushing the button. If your vehicle has an automatic gearbox, you can select the automatic engagement of the handbrake when you put the gearbox in "P".

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
