How to disable the electric parking brake on the Jeep Renegade

In this video we can see how to disengage the electronic parking brake from the Jeep Renegade. In practice, we will put it in "maintenance" mode so that we can eventually work on the rear brakes. The handbrake automatically engages every time we turn off the ignition. But if we turn on the car and press the brake pedal, we can disengage the electronic handbrake by pressing the button and continue to hold it down while turning off the ignition, keeping the pedal on the brake. Then we release the brake pedal and the electronic brake button and see that on the instrument panel, the handbrake is not engaged.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
