How to Activate the Electronic Handbrake on the Jeep Renegade?

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

To activate and deactivate the electronic handbrake on the Jeep Renegade, use the button located on the centre console, just below the gear lever. To engage the handbrake, lift the button with the P upwards; when the yellow light on the button is illuminated, the handbrake will be engaged. To deactivate it, simply press the brake pedal and push the button downwards. The yellow light will turn off, and the handbrake will be correctly disengaged. This operation must be performed with the engine running, as the handbrake cannot be disengaged with the engine off.
