If there are problems with the ignition on the 2016 Gmc Canyon, the two causes may be the gear knob to be replaced as it is faulty or the ignition lock where the faulty key must be inserted. To solve the problem, it is advisable to go to a workshop to have the two components checked and therefore to be able to replace the faulty component. It has often been reported that the problem derives from the gear knob which, failing, struggles to detect the parking position and therefore does not allow the vehicle to be switched off.
