In this tutorial, you will see how to reset the oil service light on the GMC Canyon pickup, a very simple and quick operation to perform only after completing all required maintenance tasks. First, insert the key and turn on the ignition; you do not need to start the engine.

Then, press the accelerator pedal fully three times in a row. Once done, an audible signal from the dashboard will inform you that the reset has occurred. To verify that the procedure was successful, you can turn off the ignition and turn it back on.
