The first thing to do is therefore to check the radiator liquid. Let's not limit ourselves to the overflow, unscrew the radiator cap and look inside to check that the liquid level is correct, top up if necessary and above all check that there are no leaks in the radiator or in the circuit. What's in the radiator? Waterfall? Water and liquid? Or just liquid? Only water can cause limescale problems and also (but to a lesser extent) water and liquid. This is also something to keep in mind because limescale may have clogged the radiator. If there are no leaks, we need to determine when the overheating problems occurred. If the problem occurs when idling or stalling the engine, then we need to examine the fan. Also check the air conditioning fan, as that too could be responsible for overheating if it is not working properly. Furthermore, it will be necessary to check the thermostat, since it is in any case his responsibility to indicate the temperature to be kept in the system. We should finally have a wiring diagram to check that everything is OK by tracing the circuits, relays and fuses.
