If the windshield wipers on your GMC Acadia have suddenly stopped working, first check the status of the respective relays, whose location is shown in this video. As demonstrated, the relays are located in the box inside the engine compartment, beneath the black plastic cover on the passenger side.

They are the last two in the left column when facing the box. If they are faulty, make sure to use replacement parts with equivalent specifications and work with the vehicle turned off, or you could cause damage.
