Restoration of Manufacturer's Emblem

Due to sun exposure, weather agents, and washing additives, the manufacturer's emblem tends to deteriorate: with a bit of patience, it can be restored to its original configuration. Once the grille is removed, sand the emblem with fine sandpaper to remove any cracks; cover the logo with masking tape, cut along the edges with a scalpel (or a very sharp knife), and expose only the logo; at this point, cover the rest of the grille with paper to protect it from paint splashes. Now apply masking tape again on the emblem and cut out the shape of the cross only: spray a primer and then red paint; touch up other red areas with a small brush and finally spray several coats of clear lacquer over the entire emblem.
