Replacing Timing Belt

Replacing the timing belt is a very delicate operation, advisable only for experienced individuals. Obtain the vehicle's maintenance manual, replacement belts, tensioner pulleys, tensioners, the belt installation diagram, and special tools. Start by removing the cover that needs to be taken off. Using a spanner and the appropriate tool, lock the pulley and loosen the tensioner. Levering the tensioner, relieve the tension to remove the belt. Remove the bolts of the two tensioner supports and take them off. Replace the pulleys and tensioners with the new parts, ensuring all components are reassembled correctly. Install the tensioners and new belts following the assembly diagram. Refit the cover.
