How to Replace the Timing Belt on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.6 Multijet?

To replace the timing belt on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, loosen the screws that secure the plastic cover on the left side of the engine block. This will allow you to remove the cover and access the pulleys: these can be loosened by unscrewing the nuts that secure their central pins. This way, the belt can be slipped out of its housing and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, re-tighten the pins of the pulleys and secure the side cover of the engine.
