To replace the external mirror glass on an Alfa Romeo MiTo, use a screwdriver to pry between the glass and the housing that surrounds it. This will allow you to release the internal clips that hold the glass in place, enabling you to remove it. After removing the glass, disconnect the connector located inside to completely detach it. Then, connect the new glass to its internal connector and secure it in the housing using the clips on the inside.
