Let's see what to do when the cabin fan of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta does not work: first, remove the panel from the passenger side. It comes off easily as it is only clipped in, so just pull it towards you. At the bottom of the footwell, you will find a red wire. Follow it to a connector with two levers. Press them to pull out the connector. Check that the contacts of both the connector and its socket are not oxidised; you might spray a bit of WD-40 to be sure. Perform a power test to see if the fan starts. Often, this resolves the issue without further intervention. Refit the panel, and the problem is solved.
