How to adjust the rear seats of the BMW X1

In this video we see how in the BMW X1, the cargo compartment can be used to transport large loads, and to expand this area, the rear seat can be folded down with a 40/20/40 split, each of which can be folded separately from the others, or all together. The seats can be adjusted separately to give more space to passengers or to the load: to do this, simply pull the handle located at the bottom and push or pull, according to our needs. In order to position the backrest in the desired position, on the left side of it, we find a handle in cordura. Inside the luggage compartment there are buttons that automatically fold the backrests of the rear seats forward, but after making sure that they are free. They are manually brought back to the vertical position, using the cordura handle.
