First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we position a container under the motorcycle and remove the lower fairing. We then locate the drain hole bolt, unscrew it using an 8mm hex key and let all the oil in the system drain out. At this point, we can unscrew the old filter, tighten both the replacement and the bolt, and pour in the new oil through the top hole.
