In order to replace the stator of the Aprilia Atlantic 500, you need to loosen the screws that secure the side panel of the fairing located on the right side: once this panel is removed, you can proceed by loosening the screws that secure the water pump underneath it and disconnecting the pipes. This way you can locate the stator cover that needs to be freed from its screws: the underlying stator can now be completely removed from its seat so that the new replacement part can be inserted.
