To replace the rear brake pads on an Aprilia Scarabeo 250 GT, remove the caliper for easier access to all components. First, unscrew the two bolts that secure the caliper to the casing; to access them, you will need to remove the transmission oil cap. Once the securing bolts are removed, the caliper will come off easily, allowing you to proceed by removing the circlip that holds the brake pad retaining pin in place. After removing the circlip, extract the retaining pin, taking care to remember the position of the underlying spring clip so you can refit it correctly. Removing the pin will allow you to take out the spring clip and the brake pads, which will then give access to the caliper pistons. These must be pushed back into their housings using your hands or a lever to allow for the insertion of the new pads. Once the pistons are retracted, insert the new pads into the caliper and reassemble everything in the reverse order of disassembly.

To remove the cylinder head from the LML Star 200 engine, you will need to loosen the bolts that secure the engine block to its housing at the rear of the frame. Once the engine is freed, proceed to disconnect the coil from the top of the cylinder and also loosen the bolts of the valve cover. This will allow the head to be freed from the bolts securing it to the top of the engine. Now you can detach it to insert the new one and remount the engine block in its place.
