How to change the engine oil on the Aprilia RXV - SXV 450

In this video tutorial we will see how to change the engine oil, performing the regular routine maintenance service, on the Aprilia RXV and SXV 450, but also the 550 enduro motorcycles. First of all, let's warm up the engine for a few minutes and start with remove the oil vent bolt found under the engine, letting it drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the filling hole and go to fill the crankcase with the new oil; It is important that it has the right characteristics, verifiable in the use and maintenance booklet.

Change the Honda CBr 500R engine oil and oil filter

Let's find out the instructions on how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and oil filter, of the Honda CBR 500R motorcycle. First we go to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find on the sump; let the oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we are going to unscrew and remove the oil filter, which we find behind the exhaust manifolds; we replace the cartridge with the new one, screwing in by hand and gently tightening. Finally we pour in the new engine oil, then check the oil level!
