Video tutorial

In this video we will see how to change the fuse related to the front cigarette lighter of the Audi A6. The cigarette lighter socket is very important, not only for lighting cigarettes, but because it is the power socket of the car, and therefore serves for countless uses.

If any metallic object falls into the cigarette lighter, a short circuit is created, and consequently the fuse burns out. The cigarette lighter fuse is located in the trunk of our car, on the right side of it, behind a compartment that can be removed.

It is a 20 amp fuse. The front one is the first from the top, and it is recommended to replace it with one of the same amperage, because a higher one would allow more current to pass than the system would allow, while a lower one would burn out continuously.
