Replacing the Cigarette Lighter Fuse of the Audi A6 C6

A small metal object can accidentally enter the cigarette lighter socket of the Audi A6 and cause a short circuit that will blow the corresponding fuse. After removing the cause of the short, replace the fuse; to do this, open the trunk lid. On the right side, you will find a shaped panel that, when removed, gives you access to the plate containing the fuses.

Open the plastic cover at the top left; in the first row on the left, the first two yellow 20A fuses are for the cigarette lighter: the first one is for the rear seats and the second one is for the front. Replace the blown fuse and close the panels.
