Replacement of Rear Brake Discs and Brake Pads
Model: Audi A4
B6
- Years 2000-2004
Lift the vehicle on a lift and remove the wheel corresponding to the repair area. Unscrew the fastening pins of the brake caliper located at the rear and remove the caliper and pads. Unscrew the fastening pins of the brake caliper bracket and remove it. Then, pull the old brake disc from the hub and carefully clean the new disc to remove any anti-corrosion oil residue before installing it. Next, apply the new disc to the hub (securing it with a wheel fastening pin). Retract the brake caliper piston by rotating it with the appropriate tool. Clean the brake pad seating on the caliper bracket and reattach it to the hub after lubricating the fastening pins. Insert the new pads and then the caliper.

Get a screwdriver or a cordless drill, open the glove compartment, and unscrew the fastening screws around the perimeter with a screwdriver. Once this is done, pull out the glove compartment and disconnect the power cables. Remove the fan resistor from its housing, insert the new part into the filter holder, and reassemble all the components of the glove compartment as you disassembled them earlier. by ScegliAuto More videos
