How to dismantle the rear light of the Audi Q2: the DIY method.

To remove the rear light of the Audi Q2, open the tailgate and work from the side of the trunk corresponding to the light to be removed. In the side interior trim, you will find an access flap/panel: lift it to reveal the back of the light and the mounting point. Using a screwdriver or socket, loosen and unscrew the plastic nut that secures the light assembly to the body, being careful not to let it fall into the compartment. Once the fastening is removed, protect the painted edge around the light with masking tape and grasp the light from the outside. Pull the light assembly towards you with firm but controlled movements to free the alignment pins. When the light detaches, support it with one hand and disconnect the electrical connector by pressing the safety tab. At this point, the rear light of the Audi Q2 is free and can be replaced or serviced; for reassembly, follow the reverse steps, first reinserting the pins, tightening the inner nut, and closing the trunk flap.
