Learn how to dismantle the diesel filter on an Audi A3: lift the bonnet (engine) and secure it, then locate the diesel filter. Using a screwdriver (Torx bits), unscrew the securing bolts (you can also use a socket spanner) located near the container where the diesel filter is situated. Once the filter is removed: take out the engine soundproofing panel and extract the filter from the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter into the associated diesel filter container (connect the pipes and cables) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Close the bonnet after the replacement.
