How to Remove the Intake Manifold from an Audi A3

Learn how to remove the intake manifold from the engine of an Audi A3. Start by removing the plastic soundproofing panel from the cylinder head and pull out the oil dipstick. Remove the air intake box and all its components (using a socket spanner). Disconnect all the electrical connectors leading to the engine with needle-nose pliers. Remove the various wiring present on the cylinder head (disconnect the metal clips of the various hoses and the electrical connectors). Unscrew all the fastening bolts of the intake manifold with a socket spanner or electric screwdriver; remove it from the engine bay. Refit everything in reverse order.
