Replacement of Steering Arm and Vibration Stop

Model: Audi A6 MK 2, C5 - Years 1997-2004
Part: Control arm

The necessary tools are a ratchet wrench, a set of open-end wrenches, and the replacement arm. Lift the vehicle and secure it with appropriate supports to prevent it from falling. Remove the wheel to access the mechanics. Once the broken arm is located, proceed to remove it by unscrewing all the bolts. Also remove the steering arm support by unscrewing the two bolts. Check the rest of the mechanics, especially the vibration stops that support the arms and bolts; replace them if necessary. Reassemble the new arm and the rest of the previously removed mechanics, lubricating the various components. Check the wheel alignment.
