Replacement of Front Suspension Arms

Model: Audi A6 MK 2, C5 - Years 1997-2004

The necessary tools are a ratchet wrench, a set of open-end wrenches, and replacement arms. Lift the car on a lift and remove the wheel to access the mechanics. Locate the suspension connection and proceed to remove it by unscrewing all the bolts. Use a small hammer and a punch to drive the bolts out of their seats after spraying them generously with penetrating oil. Also, remove the steering arm support by unscrewing the two bolts. If necessary, use a hammer drill. Unscrew the three support bolts located in the engine compartment and remove the complete suspension with the spring. Remove the attached arms and replace them with new ones. Reinstall the shock absorber and the rest of the mechanics that were previously removed.
