After grinding the surface of the cylinder head, check its flatness using a ground bar and a thickness gauge (the same operation will then be performed on the cylinder base); proceed with the replacement of the valve guide rubbers using the special arc clamp to release the return springs; then install the new camshafts by inserting a new series of pins of the valve control frame and abundantly lubricating the sliding seats, taking care to keep the timing references; install the exhaust manifolds with the new gaskets, re-thread the threads of the cylinder head fixing holes on the cylinder block, check the interference of the pistons with a digital altimeter and apply the new cylinder head gasket. Then position the heads, apply copper grease under the head and on the bottom of the thread of the new set of pins and tighten them in a crisscross pattern, using the torque and graduated wrench; Check that the turbine impeller has no play, apply the three new studs, the new gaskets and the lubrication duct, and then install it on the exhaust manifold. Then insert the camshaft oil guards, the timing pulleys and the toothed belt, always keeping the mesa references in phase; finally, install the tappet covers by applying gasket putty in the corners before inserting the new gaskets and the covers and intake manifolds.
